Tübitak Next Generation Sequencing Symposium was held on 3 November 2014, in Cemile Sultan Korusu with attendance of Prof. Davut Kavranoglu, Deputy Minister of Sciencei Industry and Technology, Prof. Arif Ergin, President of Tubitak Bilgem, Assoc. Prof. Fatih Ustuner, President of UEKAE and academicians from various Universities. In this session the Project Coordinator of IGBAM (Advanced Genomics and Bioinformatic Research Group), Ph.D. Mahmut Samil Sagiroglu talked about the development of the project and the studies of bioinformatics in Turkey.
